In 2021, Gasho became a part of Geiger Pump & Equipment Company (Geiger), the Mid-Atlantic’s largest industrial pump and municipal process equipment solutions provider. Since then, both companies have expanded their reach and broadened their product and service offerings.
The merger of Geiger and Gasho also included the Northeast Repair Center (NERC), a factory authorized repair center for Tuthill MD-Pneumatics Blowers and Kinney Vacuum equipment and a leader in the repair of all brands of fans, blowers, and vacuum pumps. Previously located in Avon, MA, NERC moved to Gieger’s facility in Aston, PA earlier this year, expanding their customer base throughout the Mid-Atlantic.The move provided access to Geiger’s increased repair and engineering capabilities, and also offered a more centralized shipping location for customers across the region.
Geiger has now announced the expansion of their repair facility in Aston, PA to accommodate the increased capabilities of the newly merged companies. The significantly larger repair facility in Aston, PA offers customers greater testing capacity, added machining capabilities, and dedicated engineering and support staff on premises.
The expanded facility is 5,000 square feet and features:
- (2) 3 ton overhead cranes for 6 ton overhead lifting capacity in addition to 10 ton lifting capacity in the repair shop
- Expanded liquid and air/gas system testing capabilities
- 4,000 gallon water test tank
- Workstations for 4 assemblers
- Expanded warehouse area for additional stocking of materials
- New loading dock and ramp
