Gasho is excited to offer the newly enhanced CP Series from Tuthill, which is now rated up to 18 PSIG discharge pressure. The higher rating makes this blower series an excellent option for applications such as wastewater aeration and pneumatic conveying.
The new CP series combines the advantages of rugged performance with flexibility as drop-in replacements to suit a wide range of applications. New standard features on all models include triple lip seals, magnetic drain plugs and sight glasses. Triple lip seals extend the life of the seal for proven longer bearing life.

Reduced Noise Versions Available – Models available with tri-lobe rotors and a specially tuned housing to reduce blower noise, as well as standard models featuring a bi-lobe design.
Helical Gearing – Precision-timed helical gears keyed to the rotor shafts, instead of commonly used taper fit spur gears, which have greater backlash, can slip and lose timing. Helical gears also reduce mechanical noise for quieter operation.
Magnetic Drain Plugs – Attract iron or steel particles, keeping them from moving through the bearings and seals.
Stronger Bearings – All CP Series blowers include Double-row ball bearings at the gear end, which are stronger than commonly used single row ball bearings. Drive shaft bearing is cylindrical roller type for additional strength against side loading from V-belt drives, for bearing life that is as much as 50% greater than competing models.
Metric Availability – Available with metric drive shaft and process connections.
Lubrication – Many models include dual oil splash lubrication at both the gear end and drive end of the blower for longer bearing and seal life through improved heat dissipation versus grease lubrication.
